E & O is quoted on volume of business and many will audit you annually for your volume before billing. My certified sub has insurance for $380/yr. thru LIA. $500,000/500,000 coverage, $5000 deduct.
I am Cert. Gen, have an additional registration, and my RA has to be covered before one company that I quoted. The fee is in the $4,000 range. Another, willing to cover only me was quoted at $1,477. Another $1,500. I am still looking. I understand people getting E & O thru NAIFA had a 40-50% increase last year due to fewer people in the pool.
