This is a good place to vent, brag, commiserate, and console. But everybody keep in mind that Mr. Lanigan has to be allowed to run the defense, and to decide on the merits of any offensive strategy. I suggest we keep any ideas about strategy or counteraction strictly private and off the forum. Some of you may have some good ones, and we don't need to let any cats out of the bag prematurely.

I've got a couple of notions myself, but I'm going to let Pam run them by the attorney before doing anything.

Maybe we should counter-sue for every appraisal that was cracked and watermarked. They should have to pay somebody to compare each watermarked appraisal to the original version to see what else got changed. I vote for the FBI, with eappraiseit footing the bill.

I've only done a couple of appraisals for that company...many months ago. They are now banned from this appraisal office...permanently. I imagine there are many like minded, honest, ticked off apprasiers.

Eappraiseit lurkers. Please delete my name/number/etc. from your files. I will not even waste my time calling you up to do that.

Are GOOD Appraisers actually working for EAppraiseIT? With those checks (for those that do work foe Eapp) be sure to send any E-Mail that suggest reviewing your value, or orders with inappropreate comments, or revised Appraisals to Pam. Those are more important than the money,

"Boycott" implies that we will one day work for them again after the dispute is settled. That ain't EVER gonna happen in this shop. I fired them way back when they were merely disagreeable.

AND, since AMC's exert so much control over appraisers, wouldn't that make appraisers their employees? Maybe someone should explore that angle too.
