I am trying to figure out this EDI Capable stuff. I have recently signed up for AppraisalPort, and a few other similar sites. Is that it?? I really doubt it, but wanted to find out for sure. I have performed a search on this site, so hopefully the moderators won't tear me a new one.
I hope all your comps are close!

EDI capable simply means you are able to send reports electronically. PDF e-mail is the most common form. Other methods require lenders to request you use their service (Lighthouse, Appraisalport, etc.).

Thanks Mr. Hicks! It seems I was beating that topic to death for no reason.

Which software do you use? ACI you can purchase their EDI capability from them.

I do use ACI. I will need to look into that further.
Thanks folks.

Patrick,

AppraisalPort, RealEC, and others are just platforms/conduits to get the appraisals/information into the right format for the lender. If you are signed up with AP, you can consider yourself "AppraisalPort Enabled"? Meaning you can accept & return orders through AP platform. From my experience and client base, very few lenders go exclusively through these platforms and the majority still ask for .PDF format.
