EDI via email & Adobe

Got good info on first questions re EDI. I would like to know the steps to take a Win Total report, convert to Adobe PDF, and send as attachment without going through Alamode. Obviously I'm struggling with limited email and EDI skills.

It is very easy. Even I can do it.

1. When done with your report, (amking sure it is signed) go to print and select Adobe print mode.
2. Select all forms for printing and press print.
3. When prompted, save the new .pdf file as the file is named or give your own special name. In alamode, these .pdf files go to the folder named Pdffiles. (Hey, that makes sense!)
4. Get online and open Outlook Express or whatever e-mail you use.
5. Select new message and then click attach. Find the file you just saved to Pdffiles and attach it.
6. Address your e-mail to the client and any message you may have.
7. Press "Send".
8. Depending on the size of the file and the speed of your hookup, you could be done sending in anywhere from 8 to 20 minutes.
