Estimating Cost of Repairs?

CO not required in my area, and unnecessary since I am all electric. But I just bought a smoke detector, and it was about $11. Again, you are going to deduct that from the MV?
yep - same here. CO's not required. Heck - I don't even break out fireplaces any more - too hard to extract an adjustment - much less an adjustment for lack of smoke detector. It's not difficult to estimate a CTC for that, though... $11 plus $150 for labor (typical handyman charge per hour)...

I never give an exact #. I would give a big range based on my knowledge. I also use a statement behind my range basically saying I am not a GC and the range is just my opinion. Always works, never an issue

Do either of yous non co people have a garage with a gas burning car.
If garage built into the house a good source of co to kill you.

alebrewer, i am impressed with your detail. Terril, you forgot cost to install.

Lol. Just because they're not required doesn't mean they're not a good idea. Our HW heaters are gas - thus we have them as well as SDs.

Imagine that, $150 for labor on a CO2 installation. Something wrong with our field of work in today's marketplace........by a long shot.
But, real comfy here Not doing any AMC work.

Poorly built garage is so. Mine is detached. There is no way CO can build up in an all-electric home without some oxygen burning source.
