I'm fired up! Taking the State test july 16th. I have been using both CompuCram and Learn Appraising software. Has anyone noticed the difference in the two? I find Compucram very easy to read and have done well with the practice test, however, learn apprising has been a little difficult for me -- not sure if it is the structure of writing the question compared to compucrams... at any rate -- been diggin' deep into the studies and have the PGI's and EGI's and NOI's -- the IRV's -- and age life method..etc planted in the brain.... Any thoughts on the two softwares?

I'm preparing for my state certification test and noticed your thread here--did you pass the tests? I am trying to decide which is better: compucram or learnappraising, which did you prefer?

I used both compucram (they had just updated the software to match the 2008 testing requirements) and appraisallearning.. both are great tools. And yes I passed the test. It's a difficult test but if you know PGI's, EGI's and NOI's -- all three approaches in detail and word terms -- you'll do well. You will also need to know how to use the HP 12c calculator. Study, study, study, but do take the day off before exam day and just chill. Really does work. Much success to you!
