"Expert Witness"

I spoke too soon. Just now a text from the attorney stating he doesn't have my email address. I responded that I had sent him an email on Jan 2nd, (to decline being an 'expert witness') and that it was also on the appraisal. So annoyed.
You made my day. Please don't do like me and say go fork yourself. :giggle:

Being annoyed is fine. Just hold it girl.

I won't lie. I do think you would be great expert witness.

The judge is the one that makes that decision. If judge says you are qualified

Then you are qualified.

Your E&O lawyer knows.

This guy from Kentucky that is good teacher says the judge says in this courtroom, I am the law.

Lawyers are notorious for telling you to be ready on a certain date... but, then not bothering to tell you when the court date gets changed or the case settles.

As per my E&O carrier, in CA a subpoena needs to be served at least 10 days in advance. As of 01-11-2024 4:47 PST, I have not gotten the subpoena. So I guess I'm not needed for tomorrow as previously informed. And while I am tempted to tell the attorney to go fork himself, I have too much respect for the court system (although I am more than cynical about it) to not follow the laws.
