Anyone know of a way to export our file cabinet data, in Athena, to an Excel spreadsheet. My wife and my book keeper want to know.

I haven't used Athena for some time but I do recall being able to select everything in the list, copying it and then pasting into a workbook.

Just select the first item in the list and do a "ctrl-A" to select all in the list. Then do a "crtl-C" and go to excel and "paste".

Excel

Well, what I, or my book keeper, want is my complete list of appraisals that I have done, by year, with the total billed in column.

I tried to use the method you mentioned, but it didn't work.

But, thanks for the input. :)

Need the right tool

Athena runs on MS Access database and if you have the application, all you need to do is open the Wintotal database inside Access and use the export to excel feature to create the file. Some cleanup and the accountant will be happy.

There is another way to do it within Excel (import from DB operation) but is more cumbersome but produces the same results.

The good thing is that these are tested and safe operations that Office products can handle with ease.
