Hi everyone,

What form do you use if the homeowner requests an appraisal report for a condo to just find out its current value?

I have read that some use the old 1004 form for a single family and some use the new form (but change the intended use and etc.) But so far, I havent found any threads on a condo yet.

Can someone please help me out? Thanks so much for your time!

I am using ACI and I use the GPAR form for the 1004. I haven't check to see if they have a GPAR for the Condo but I'm sure they should.

I would use the general purpose form also. If you can find one for condo's, go for it. Never needed one so not sure if it actually exists.

ACI has the GPAR Condo.form, it would probably serve the purpose for which you intend.

Welcome aboard and good luck

And what if there were no forms?

a la mode has a GP condo form too.

What ever form you are comfortable with. Or perhaps a verbal report would suffice.

Condo for owner

Maybe you could use an Excel spread sheet. No references to any borrower, lender, etc. there. Maybe your supe. appraiser could help.

What would Zillow do?
