I've been looking all over Fannie Mae's website, and this one, to find out up to how many acres fannie Mae will loan on for a SFR. Does someone know? Thank you!!

It's not the size of the site that matters, it's whether or not the property is residential in nature (that is, must be a residential property).

See Fannie's "Handbook for Appraisers", page 33, for more information.

Fannie Mae sets no specific limits as to the size of a residential lot.

Used to be 5 acres, however that rule has been eliminated!

Land use is important. NO FARMS!

Thank you for your responses. I found the Single Family Selling Guide, but not the "Handbook For Appraisers", can you send me a link to that web page? Thank you.
