Anybody ever join this directory and receive any work with reasonable fees?

I got the same e-mail. Looks like a total scam.

How long before the real Fannie Mae puts them out of business for using their name without permission?

Well, as an AMC when they register with the states, aren't they going to have to pay $50 per appraiser to the state? ( I thought I read that somewhere). I checked out their directory and all the "good guys" in my area are right there. I will do some investigating tomorrow.

I don't know, sounds like the good guys got snookered.

It's just one more useless directory trading off the Fannie Mae trademark.

Weird!

I checked their web site and my name is on it! Every appraiser in our county is listed, some who don't even practice the 'art.'

Trust me, I never signed up and certainly did not pay.

Be concerned with this website. The whois lookup shows they are registered via a proxy service , so difficult to tell who it is.
