I predict there will be unintended consequences from this ansi. Specifically, the floor plans are a requirement for Desktoppies and Burb it up reports. You have to have a floor plan i.e walls etc, The reason is obvious. How will you know if the SFR suffers from interior functional obsolescence from your desk? The most common functional problem often has to do with a bedroom that you can't access without going through another bedroom. I have seen this with the only bathroom. In the context of all SFR it is uncommon.

I can see lender clients adding the wall requirement on traditional 1004/1073. Even the Checker Dudes & Dudettes will be rubbing their hands together and grinning because they now will have another stip added to their checklist. Job Security! They may even take it upon themselves to add that stip even though the lender/client may not have. That happened the other day. I was stip because I did not label the individual four interior photos. Four of the photo's were of the floor coverings. i.e carpet, vinyl, wood laminate of rooms. I left out what rooms they were and that was the stip. Folks the purpose of those photos is obvious. I was just focusing the Intended User's attention on the condition. We all know that the interior condition can be a game-changer because it directly relates to overall condition ratings. Especially since so many homes today have low-maintenance exteriors. i.e vinyl siding

Nowhere in the engagement letter of instructions did it get that specific.

So will the checker peeps do this on the desktoppies. I think you can count on it.
