If this thread is in the wrong place, sorry... I didn't know where else to place it since the non-appraisal section is gone.

Anyhoos ...

For shipping purposes (within the US) ... does anybody know what the farthest city is from San Antonio or how to find out how? I tried finding something using the postal service's shipping tools, but no luck.

I would check with local freight companies and UPS and Fed EX.

Go to MapQuest, put Poheneningamook in farth Northern Maine, for a trip map, that will give you a distance, then do the same thing to Blaine Washington. That may not be perfect, but it will be as close as you are likely to get.

You might also try Key West, Florida. After you do that, post the answers. It would be interesting.

Within the US? I'd have to guess Alaska or Hawaii.

But I'm guessing you don't mean to include them.

Yes, I did mean to exclude them ... Thank you.

I forgot my Delorme Street Atlas had a route finder. Technically speaking, Kekaha, Hawaii & Barrow Alaska are about the same distance from San Antonio - approx. 3800 miles. But within the other 48 connected states ... it looks like Madawaska would be the farthest at approx. 2300 miles. Blaine Washington is only 2200 miles away from San Antonio. I couldn't find Poheneningamook.
