Fastest way to get ACI from PC to Laptop

Currently I have two ACI and two Apex 3 licenses on two home PCs. I want to transfer one to my laptop. I am assuming that the fastest way to do so is to copy the c:/program files/ACI32 folder to the laptop and then install a downloaded version of ACI over that. Then deactivate the PC license and activate it on my laptop while on the phone with ACI. Then download updates and I should be good to go, yes?

Any problems or delays seen with this plan?

that looks like the right plan in the right order. just did about the same thing myself. still fooling around with the pdf writer but all else is working.

You might want to be careful about creating advance file folder structures before you install the software. The software installation MAY create the folder structures and wipe yours out. It would be easy to just move the old files into the new installation afterward.

Or, you could call ACI and see what they say.
