Most of the jobs that are being eliminated are relatively high paying union jobs. By the time someone 50-55 yrs old reaches the level to be a journeyman to make similar money. The will be close to retirement age

When obsolete jobs are gone, look for new opportunity jobs.

It is one thing when the market makes a job "obsolete". It is another thing when the government makes your job obsolete regardless of the market

If FED would not have jacked the rate huge, inflation would have been like 30%.

I understand they had to do it. Trust me they are looking at many economic indicators.

They are not sweating this on interest rates.
