Fees Clear Capital

Clear isn’t the only one forcing fees down, it’s industry wide thanks to the middle men who were given all the power. And if anyone thinks the new UAD means higher fees, read the attached (I blacked out his name but if you’re a member of the FB group the post is easy to find). FWIW I’ve heard the same and have posted the same several times. Hope we’re wrong.

Interesting thing that caught my eye from the above letter is " they are expecting to get reports turned in from the field".

Based on the above, the uad 3.6 is expected to be ipad, tablet based. Plus, you're going to have to have internet connection which means a SIM card. So right off the bat, it's going to be even more costly to provide that type of service..... for even less of a fee.

The uad 3.6 it's going to have to be primarily checkbox based with very little commentary or short blurbs like the C condition ratings for example for that to work.

Just use your phone as a hotspot and connect your tablet that way

Okay, that'd work. I haven't taken a class on how the form works yet, but I'm assuming there's going to be some sort of typing involved....I go through pretty hefty explanations sometimes. I'm not going to sit in my car and type out with the on-screen keyboard my analysis in 85° weather..... that's what I have an ergonomic chair, a computer with a 27-in screen with a keyboard in the comfort of my home for. I'm not a dog wandering around looking for scraps....

Again, if it's just checkboxes, take a photo of the kitchen at this point of the process, drop down comment choice.... fine. If the new uad is going to need any sort of commentary that I do currently, it's going to be a problem for me. That is, if they want on the spot, from from the field reporting.

Low fee assignments are gobbled up around here before I can even counter. Btw I don't really counter, I just click on the order to see how fast it is taken. They are gone in a heartbeat
$200 pays more bills than $0.
