My solution to repairs that can be contested on FHA is to include photos.
On that fence thingie you were talking about, I would have included a photo from each opposite direction.
On that storm drain, a photo should have been included so the underwriter is trapped. The underwriters don't actually waive the work orders. They can consider them in appropriate and ask you to remove them. They do not have the power to remove work orders, except on FHA no cash-out refi's. That fence might also have lead paint on it if it's in sure poor condition.
Does anybody ever write letters to HUD with the Case No. on it.
