FHA Appraisal - Dishwasher Missing

Your post plainly states that "Appliances that are to remain....". If there is not dishwasher, it can't remain.

If there IS a dishwasher, it has to be functional.
Mine wouldn't make the grade. The blasted thing quit me. Washing by hand takes all of 5 minutes so I ask myself. Why the L did I ever install one in the first place? They are good for about 5 years here then they cake over with all the deposits from my hard water. Yeah, don't tell me to put in an additive. I have and that only slows the problem a little bit.

It's been a minute since I donned a hand-washed and line dried shirt... pretty nice feeling, actually.

Is it enough to 'Uncheck Dishwasher in 1004 Improvements Section' or FHA expects 'Dishwasher (or any appliance) not present' to be written in 'FHA Comments' along with 'Property meeting MPR, Head & Shoulder Attic Inspection . . . .'
If it's not there, then there's no need to check a box for it. Don't even mention it in the report
Just note what appliances ARE there and that you observed them functional at time of inspection and move on

Dishwasher missing? I hope they've filed a missing person report for the wife.
