so there is no blood on my hands if I do this report again?
I used to do drive-bys for a top 10 lender when their homes were in the foreclosure queue. They would re-order every 4-6 months. On two different occasions, they ordered a 2nd 2055 within 5 days of a prior one. Both times I reminded them of the very recent prior report. Both times I got some extra coin for almost no work, though I did update the subject pictures so I wasn't lying about the inspection/effective date.

if the original comp photos were taken 2 months ago, are we permitted to reuse them or should new photos of the same comps be taken?

USPAP does not mention "Photo's".

Make sure no physical changes to the property.

Depends on your SOW

I take comp photos once and the effective date of data source is the date I took the photo.

I'm in a rural area with few sales and reuse the same sales many times. An AMC or lender has questioned why my comp effective date is not the same as or close to the report effective date. I tell them that is the date I researched the sale.

Same thing when the photo is "out of season." I researched the sale, took the photo, and reported the appropriate effective date.
