Does anyone have a contact for FHA so I can pass a fraudlent file over to. Miami-Dade County property listed for 200k sold on 04/14/08 for 180k (Cash) same day close at 285k a FHA (282k loan amount). Sounds like a sweet deal start the day with 180k finish the day with 282k. Title company postponed recording on the 2nd transaction until 05/30/2008. So what the appraiser that did the FHA did not notice the listing for 200k when he was doing the file?

HUD@custhelp.com is the address that was posted somewhere earlier on the FHA sub-forum

Here's one:

px_cashback@ic.fbi.gov

Some other suggestions:

How about the AG, FBI, The IRS, the Banking Commisioner of your State, Bank Finance in your State legislator, The Banks that did the deals, Any news reporter that wants a prize. & of Course Pam just so you can later say "I Told You So",

And by the way cause it's FHA be sure to call your local & ask for the investigation department & send it to them Due to it being the in way to get loans everyone wants to be on the list so they are canceling out lenders that break the rules.

Send the file to Richard Hagar at American Home Appraisals. He lives in Washington state and recently spoke to Missouri appraisers at our state conference. Richard is licensed appraiser, SRA with the Appraisal Institute, and performs review work for some of the largest lenders. His connections are pretty high up the food chain.
His speech talked of mortgage fraud and he passed around case after case after case of individuals that he has busted for fraud including appraisers, loan officers, underwriters, etc.
If there is a case here, this guy won't let it sit on his desk and age.

FHA needs us to send these in to the investigartion division, ASAP due to congress wanting an out & putting pressure on FHA to "cover" the looses many very good, FHA employees would love to show congress how dangerous this is going to be. However being Government paid employees they would like the common citizen assistance, in showing congress what a big mistake they are making.

Speaking of common citizens I see there is a group & I can't recall name or where they are that are beginning a protest as to this foreclosure mess, we should find them & get them on our side before AMC's get them on their side.

If you can get the title company to fax you the first page of the deed of trust you can get the FHA case number. It is located in the upper right hand corner of the deed and the note. They may give it over the phone, but if you are reporting to FHA or someone else, it's good to have the case number.

You may also want to report the transaction to the local Board of Realtors if the MLS was involved.
