Brad Pack answered that they are reviewing the terms of the certified clause (so licensed appraisers, don't lose hope yet). I just got certified... so I could care less either way... but it affects my employees affecting my bottom line... this could get ugly.

I believe the certified clause was in response to appraising related to the Hope Bill, not all FHA appraisals.

I personally know licensed appraisers that would put CR's to shame with their experience and education; therefore, I do not agree that Licensed appraisers should be punished for his/her licensing level (hence,agree to disagree). Poor or unethical appraising can consist of licensed, certified, or even certified general appraisers....poor or unethical appraising does not reside within one licensing level alone.

We need to quit bashing licensed appraisers simply because they are licensed and not certified....this simply sounds like a way to get rid of the competition to me.
