FHA office closed, need an expert

What would happen if we didn't get a permit for the demolition? Would the new hole in the ground be illegal?


Well of course .. it would have to be rebuilt so you could get a permit to tear it down.
Sheesh .. I swear you newbies and not understanding how things really work ..... :new_smile-l:
 
Roof

Regarding the new roof HUD/FHA requirements state "if 3 or more layers of shingles, all existing shingles must be removed before re-roofing."
 
FHA called back, this am

I have called FHA in the past on sealed windows, however it had been awhile.
It might be a different code for the city you reside in, but per FHA, all windows need to be functioning properly and need to open and close.
As for the roof, I just need to state a new roof has been put on, It is not my responsibility to pull permits or even state what the home inspector stated in his report, however, I believe I am still going to have the lender refer to the inspection report.
