I am in the process of obtaining my Florida certification myself. I am certified in New Jersey and took the new exam February '08. It is my understanding that if you took the new exam within the past two years, you do not need to retake it. I'll just have to take the Florida law class. I'm waiting for the status on the December class for that. They might push it to January. They are waiting for the new material to be approved by the state. You will have to get your fingerprints redone also. So far, I have not had any problems...The application and instructions are on the web page and they have a phone number you can call with any questions. Good Luck.
In regards to the application. Is that the one online that wants a list of all my previous appraisals. Is the Florida law class the one that involves the Florida Supplemental exam. Can I take the Florida law class online or do I have to attend in person. I may be down in the S. Fl area in a couple of weeks. Thanks.
