Hi all,

I have recently been added to the FHA roster, but am being fairly selective as to what appraisal assignments I will accept until I gain more experience. I have an assignment marked "FmHa" pending, and am not familiar with the current guidelines for this program and perhaps should decline the assignment. I did a few of these 10 years ago, but I suspect things have changed since then!

At the risk of sounding stupid, is there a thermal cert or some necessary addenda that needs to be added to the 1004? I searched through the forums, but most of the FmHa info appears to be pretty dated. This property is located in Ohio. Thanks in advance.

FmHA is an entirely different appraisal. FHA is a Federal Housing Authority/Housing and Urban Development appraisal. FmHA is a Farmers Home Administration appraisal. Go to the web and look up FmHA in your area and find out where the local housing office is. Get what you need from them.
