Every now and then I'm reminded on why I don't typically do reviews. But with the hurricane and not feeling like going outside, I figured I would tackle what appears to be a fairly simple desk review. The AMC fee seems ok.

Client wants a 2006 short form. In my database, that appears to be a 1 page form? Could it honestly just be a 1 page form (then I'll add all the other BS that USPAP requires)? In my experience, a 1 page form usually turns into 10 pages.

A sales grid does not appear to be required with this form?

Thanks in advance if you have any tips.

I guess you already agree with the value and the comps, so one page suggests, you're just going to tell them what a wonderful report it was.

I don't do reviews either, sleep quite well.

I'd rather sell plasma to get $45 payday.

Thanks. Seems simple enough. Paying only slightly less than what corelogic wants to pay for a full URAR, so might as well do it.

depends on SOW, but for the clients I have that request this, and I only do a small amount per year (<5), they do not ask for an opinion of value

The ones I complete are basically looking for "is the report reasonable" based on the information provided in the OA.

Generally this is a 1 page report (the 2006 form - and as you noted "all the other BS that USPAP requires") with an addendum possibly (if your comments in each section exceed the space provided on the form)
