I haven't recalled such persistent negative thread crapping from someone in NC since (Edited out-I used his initials, but he's concerned, so I deleted) used to post here:icon_mrgreen:

I’m impressed, your detective skills are sufficient enough to locate an FHA case number if needed. Since I’ve already experienced multiple pages of bogus comp check requests, when can I expect a brick in my living room window?

But, what I did want to do is share my paranoia about trying companies in the court of public opinion.

Whichever company it is, it would be interesting to invite them (management) to comment. There would be risks involved, of course.
I posted the link to that company back in post #37, but this happened.

Offshore, don't get carried away:) I just remembered your "literary style" and the type of things you selected as priorities in your posts. You were busted solely by your posting style and content.

I mean you no harm, just giving you feedback. I've never sent a comp check request to anyone ever, so those must have been legitimate bogus comp check requests. With your persuasive manner, I bet you could convert, say, .000001% of them into ethical, USPAP compliant assignments:shrug:

The ultimate black list is kept here (National Registry of ASC): http://www.ASC.gov/content/category1/nr_intro.aspx?id=10

All the names, all in one place. Think of it as a national credit repository and all the reporting states as reporting subscribers.

Find something wrong on the list? Unlike with the three national credit bureaus, there is no FTC to complain to, not much in the way of recourse. Just ask real nice and hope there is a correction, or go political, if you have the connections.

The other lists, by comparison, are child's play.

Mentor my conversion rate for comp checks isn't high as you suggested. My charming personality may have something to do with it. :)

To anyone reading this who wonders what can happen, in the past I had someone contact a lender and inform them what I posted about them. Yes, you can lose business because of what you post in here. Trust no one. :peace:

This little gem just received because I didn't make her number. What was that, Vernon, about no such thing as blacklists unless you deserve it? I have the other email also where she screams because I didn't hit her value. And this was an FHA loan. Yup - the same greed that brought down the major lenders is now at work in FHA.

Good Morning Everyone
Please remove XXXXXXXXX from our list of Appraisers, because she doesn’t provide good customer service.
Thank You.

Government Approved Lender

Send it to the FBI. They are the ones that are actually taking action against these losers.

Mentor as a follow up, outing someone in this forum is in very poor taste. As a former active appraiser you should appreciate our positions. I'm not angry, just disappointed in you. To anyone reading this who wonders what can happen, in the past I had someone contact a lender and inform them what I posted about them. Yes, you can lose business because of what you post in here. Trust no one.

I humored you and deleted your initials in the referenced post. There was no reason for you to confirm my guess on a public forum, but if you are concerned, the guessed initials are now history.

Well done Bearslide.

Eventually you may be able to read about yourself on the broker outpost or the grapevine. One of those topics where the headline screams about being screwed over by an appraiser.:rof: They are most enjoyable to read. And they never will understand the ethics of the issues.
