For those supported Obamacare...

Sir, many of my family work in healthcare profession. They know better than to bring your argument up to me. Most civilized nations have govt healthcare. They have to wait. They don't have to be told where they can go either.

Don't go down that road with me. I have every profession as relatives from surgeons to pharmacist to etc.etc. They don't step on my toes on that subject. They know better.
LOL, they have those because we pay for their defense and have for about 50+ years. Those days are coming to an end. The bond market is telling everyone the gravy train is over.

My 6 month old grand daughter received her first piece of mail yesterday, an $8 bill for pathology. I’m not for Obamacare, but the system we have is a mess.

Who knows, my next-door neighbors are Canadian, they moved here for work 20 years ango and have raised their family here. Now he has a good job with good benefits, probably makes 250 K a year and I’d say they are relatively liberal. He can’t stand the Canadian healthcare system. Most of his friends in Canada come down here for any significant work They need done.

The US has the best healthcare system in the world. If you’re a millionaire, it’s hard to argue otherwise.
I disagree. The problem lies in the insurance companies and doctors and drug companies.

Other countries that have govt healthcare that citizens pay for through taxes work better.

The proof is in the pudding. We are not a very healthy nation per capita and we spend more per capita than any nation on healthcare because of the screwed up system.

If medicare is still around when I reach 65, I will say we have a pretty good system. LOL

Medicare is not bad system. Medicaid either imho.

I will say there are many democratic nations that have govt healthcare. They are healthier per capita. That is proof in the pudding.

I'm headed for two knee replacements - One the 25th of this month, and the other after complete recovery of the first this year.

Found out yesterday morning that replacements are the only real option for me - Being that I also have pre-surgical visits for PT and admission, I also find it difficult to complain about the time this is going to take for action.

I'm sorry you are having problems too, Terrell. My past days of football continue to reveal the impact of those days on my body. lol
I've had two knee replacements, good luck. The first thing you'll say is Why did I wait? My wife recently had both done at the same time. She's doing great, only spent 1.5 hours on the operating table. It's amazing what they can do now.

Our healthcare system is one factor. But the other is build environment & culture. Europeans walk more (better designed cities) and generally eat correctly.

My restaurant tenant said he forgot to pay his medical insurance and now has a big bill so he can't pay full rent.
Are there safeguards in the health system to help those who don't have the money to pay their health bill?

Welcome back to America. Also, I had a similar thing but my tenant was in a car wreak. They chose their BMW payment over full rent :(

With high vacancies in SF, I know it will be difficult to rerent in SF. Vacant commercials are subject to city vacancy tax and graffiti vandalism will be a problem.
Thus in meantime I have to work with the delinquent tenant.
I'm trying to sell the building.
