A client has ordered a rent study to determine the fair market rental of a small retail store which has been paying the same rent for over 20 years. I have plenty of data for the study but I don't have a good looking format to present it in. Any suggestions or samples would be appreciated.

Maybe a software company, perhaps your residential software package has something that will work. I typically just use Microsoft Xcel and make up my own...

Remember that if the intent is to report an opinion of the market rent for the subject, that this is an appraisal, and you need to comply with Standard 2.

I had a similar assignment of a residence last week. The client just want a 1007 form and could not understand why I had to add other stuff.

DWiley, doesn't that just bother the fire out of you? It does me. Was it they didn't understand, or didn't want to understand because of the ensuing and unexpected by them additional fee?
