One thing I have noticed is the forum is no longer a closed forum. It used to be if I was not logged in, I could not view forum posts. Now anyone can--members or not--without being logged in.

Kind of like running through a public park, nekkid. :ROFLMAO:

Actually the forum permissions are the same as before. You could always view the forums without being logged in (except for clients, good, bad and ugly and improving the profession).

sorry...just don't see this as an "improvement" in any way. My 2 cents. I guess the upside is that I will spend less time on the forum and more time doing other things that are more productive.

Don't you know that appraisers hate changes? How do you open to the last post in a topic?

At the top of the thread there is a link "go to first unread" and also navigation to all of the pages, as well as to the last page.

OMG! I am having a TERRIBLE time reading your new forum. The font size is T-I-N-Y. Extremely hard to read. I don't know about you, but I'm staring at my computer screen all day long, getting eye strain as it is, and my eyes are actually watering as I'm trying to even read what I'm typing here. Since the avg age of an appraiser is 64 y/o, couldn't you show a little mercy & make the fonts big enough to be readable for us typically-aged appraisers!? GAWD!

Click on your name, preferences then style, select "classic." Much easier to read the forum.

I am testing a "classic" style similiar to the colors we had. I have turned it on for everyone and will test it for a short time to see if there are any problems.

If no problems I will make it a user selection. If there are problems I will have to either figure them out or not make it available.
