I took a full time job the middle of August and haven't felt better in years. Steady pay and I still do a few appraisals here and there. I should have done this long ago....CURT VAN HOOSER.

Ditto here...I was very fortunate to be hired by the county 2 months before a 25% expense reduction was announced last week...extraordinary, historically excesses make the 25% cut relatively easy to accomplish, almost like working in the private sector again, although one must wonder whether govt intervention in healthcare, real estate, banking, automibiles, etc., is the fast track to nationalized...EVERYTHING!

Ditto. I shut my business down end of last year. Took six months off and now I'm back in school and working for Contra Costa County in payroll as a temp. Only now because of all the budget crisis I'm being let go at the end of the year. Dark days ahead my friends.
