It is hard to tell especially when installed on ceiling. I would zoom my camera and sometimes have words indicating combo detector.
And I always ask the occupant exactly what it is.
One recent appraisal the combo was "high tech" seemed to be hardwired installed. I had to take occupant word what it was and of course with photos.
