Ghost Town in Inland Empire

I was in Ontario last week and I saw plenty of vacant new construction. I also noted rentals of new houses and a large auction sign.

I grew up in the Ontario area as did my parents, some of my grandparents and a couple of great grandparents. My aunts still live there. One of my aunts lives in the house she and my uncle bought in 1954 or 1955, probably for ten or fifteen thousand dollars.

It used to be old Italian wine vineyards, citrus groves, Kaiser Steel and Lockheed. I was just there last week. It's sad what developers and speculators have done to it.
