Global warming, so confusing, help me understand.

I don't know how you can reconcile science (any science) with The Devine Plan....
Tree ring....
Smoke ring....

Isn't it a waste of your time to debate it....
Nothing beats The Plan....
AMEN....
Then why talk about anything...

Ancient Beaver Bones Were Found in a Desert,

The scientific community was stunned when paleontologists unearthed well-preserved beaver remains in the heart of what is now the Chihuahuan Desert spanning parts of Mexico and the southwestern United States. The discovery occurred during a routine geological survey when researchers noticed fossilized bones protruding from an eroded cliff face. Carbon dating revealed these remains to be approximately 12,000 years old, placing them near the end of the last Ice Age.

What made this discovery particularly remarkable was not just the presence of beaver remains, but their excellent state of preservation, suggesting rapid burial in sediment, likely during a flooding event that would have been common in the beaver's wetland habitat.

In a startling twist, the Antarctic Ice Sheet has experienced a substantial mass gain, leaving climate scientists scratching their heads. Between 2021 and 2023, the continent saw an increase of about 108 gigatons of ice per year.

What’s especially surprising is that this surge came after years of steady ice loss, defying the familiar narrative of relentless melting. The primary driver behind this sudden growth appears to be unusually heavy snowfall, particularly in East Antarctica.

Experts have pointed out that these patterns are highly irregular and not fully understood. “We haven’t seen a turnaround like this in recent memory,” remarked Dr.

  • Cause of the Gain: The increase is attributed to unusual increases in precipitation, leading to more snow and ice accumulation.
  • Temporary Nature: Scientists emphasize that this gain is likely a temporary anomaly linked to unusual precipitation patterns, not a sign of a long-term trend reversal. Most Antarctic ice losses come from glaciers speeding up and flowing into warming oceans, which is still happening.
it is interested. Maybe it can spread to the other ice sheets.

How convenient, when it goes against the climate fanatics opinions it's a temporary anomaly, but when a similar anomaly supports their position it is settled science. Pseudo science at it's best

It's really horrible how much the sea has risen...

You seem obsessed with religion lately UC. May be hope for you yet.

According to you....
Climate change is a religion....
So maybe you are obsessed with that religion.... :)

o maybe you are obsessed with that religion..
I simply do not substitute "models" for falsifiable science. Models are not science. They are hypothesis and the history of the past 40 years of such models (hypotheses) has been 100% not coming to fruition. And science is fluid. It is only true until proven wrong. Newton's Law of Motion was improved by Einstein's Relativity...and that may someday be superseded by a better version.
