Lets see Taxes up 10% (were 2%, now 2.2%)
??? Anything going on with getting taxes reduced to CURRENT value levels ???
Home insurance way up (+ 30-40% ??)
Flood insurance way up (OUTRAGEOUS NUMBERS)
Still no infrastructure for fresh water - rains just flow down canals into the sea, while lake Okie-Chobee drys out.
.... It might take getting down a bit lower to make properties equally affordable as they were in say 2000-2002
My gut says that once decent units slip under the 200 pricemark, sales will start to pick up. Then again, it could take getting to the 150's before the market perks up. Who really knows?
Forget the luxury high-end buyers; we need the middle income retirees who plan to settle in for the long haul.
