I loved the preacher cussing during a rainstorm when he missed the last shot... I saw that movie in a movie in College Station at the campus. Me and my buddy may have been the only two there over 25 years old. the Babe Ruth candy bar scene was epic.
Man I just remember the preacher scene in the thunderstorm. Wasn't Bill Murry caddying for the preacher that day, although I don't remember him being a caddy in the movie. I remember as a kid of about 10-13 years old having to sign in to the caddy shack early at about 7 am in order to be assigned a low "number" for the day, typically finishing a round by 5pm--10 hours for the standard $2.90 for carrying one bag, or $5.80 [including gratuity] for carrying two bags. I once carried a bag for a 20-somethig college guy who broke the course record one summer day. He tipped me TWO DOLLARS instead of one dollar!!!!!!! Same guy kept condoms in his golf bag, so I put a pack of rubbers in my bag too...removing them about 15 years later, somewhat past their "useful life expectancy" !!!!!!!!!!
