Got A Call From ?

Some AMC called, and said they had some work right outside my front door.
All COD from A rated borrowers so collection would not be a prob. Very solicitous of my work load. Quoted rates which were somewhat on the high side of my range. So I said ok fax over the three orders and I will do my best to get them out to you.

Gave my fax No. and then he said that there was a one time administrative fee of $350.00 ( I think that was the amount).

I responded "No I do not pay to do work". Between the words "Not" and "Pay" there was a click and a dead phone line. He must have had some sort of kill button. Oh well, guess I missed out on a real gravy train.

Hey guy if you are lurking around this board, why not get a real job and a real life, I gave you the curtesey (sp?) of my time and attention and you're not man enough to thank me and move on?

Sounds like that same old rip off artist that has recently changed their name and now their tactics.

Bottom line is:

NEVER PAY FOR AN ORDER!!!!!!

I got a call from them too.....they had a couple orders for me in New Haven - I had them FAX over some more info about their company - just the same BS they said on the phone to me, no letter head, no phone numbers, not even a return address.......go figure.

At $395 a pop, how many do you think they get a month??

If they don't accept that offer. You can offer to have them send you a check and in a few days you will come by their office and kick them in the ***. At least that way, they will learn not to give money to strangers. :lol:
