The bankruptcy notice I got in the mail says, "No property appears to be available to pay creditors. Therefore, please do not file a proof of claim now."

Correct they went through the AMC Bond Money in Each State real fast, as of now they are essentially a Zombie corp -LLC and just a paper company waiting to be discharged from Federal BK Courts.

Check to see if they have a surety bond in the state. If they due file now. Once that money is gone it’s gone.

You van try to contact the lenders you did work for to see if they will pay you. Some will and some wont. Depends on who touched the money.

When I had my Coester case, many were left unpaid, some lenders stepped up and I’d pay, when his bonds ran dry no one got anything.

This is another reason we need to get something done to stop allowing AMCs to handle the money.

As with my lawsuit with coester we found that they had contracts with their lenders to allow them to charge the borrowers and collect payments.

This is also done my many AMCs. We have seen some good lenders make good on the payments however we have seen Many state “sorry. We never collected or touched the money so you have to get it through the AMC.

Same happened when Appraisal Loft went out of business.

This is why we need to stand up and demand that the lenders pay us as well as pay the AMCs separately with whatever is collected.

Until then this will keep happening and there is nothing you can do about it. Sure you can go after the surety bond many AMCs have to have in many states however once that money runs out…. Sorry.

I just got a bankruptcy filing notice for AMR Appraisals AKA GOT Appraisals in the mail today. Guess I'm never getting paid for that last assignment from August. Their license in FL just expired too.

There have been posts for +- 2 years about their slow/ no pay which is why you should look for those types of posts. Its very late in the game but if you have any outstanding invoices with other Vendors you need to pull out all the stops to be paid before the suffer the same fate.

Sorry to all of you who GOT stiffed. These guys have been slimy from the start. SLOW to pay, per my emails from 2011 when I stopped working for them. The head guy "Jody" or something was an ***. I remember them begging me to do some horrible deal back at the start of the AMC/Dodd-Frank days and me telling him my fee. He says "oh you'll be back begging to work for us". Nope, didn't happen.
