5 per day for $120k plus benefits puts their target cost per desktop right around $120 per report.

I have looked at a lot of GSE hybrids for homes in states that require the fee in the appraisal report. What is see is typically 3x to 5x the fees that are claimed/cited in social media.
 
When you work at the GSEs you can just say stuff. Edit: not trying to be a dick, but often no way to verify what you say and we just have to take it as truth. Meanwhile direct evidence being posted here suggests otherwise.

3x to 5x $25 is still starvation fees. But if you're claiming 3x to 5x the $120 fee shown in post #69 is "typical" I will challenge that.

Edit: And BTW, what the AMCs are charging borrowers doesn't count. But I would believe AMCs are gouging borrowers 3x to 5x what they are paying boots on the ground appraisers.
