1. I had been using a MacBook pro M1 with 16 ram to run Total using parallel virtual machine.
2. Noticed that when I was running Total I was in the "yellow" for memory use.
3. Also noticed the program in 3.6 was not running very well.
4. Had a PC laptop and had I7 processor with 16 ram. Moved it there. Now works well.
5. Considering going to a mac mini with M5 pro and 48 ram. I really like the ecosystem of the Apple IOS. And I am all apple. And I've always had very good success with Apple PCs. Been doing this for 15 years on Apple PCs. Only recently had a problem, and now it seems like 24 mb of RAM is standard fair on MacBooks.
6. Have any of you experienced the same issues running on Apple PC with parallels? Are any of you using Apple PCs with more memory and not having any issues?
Before I put down a bunch of cash on a new mac system, I want to make sure it makes sense. My present PC is kind of a cheap one so need to do something before the end of year to get a tax right off.
