..........It is a foreclosure and had some issues in one of two detached garages on the property. .......... our financing changed from Conventional to FHA. .......... repairs 5 holes in the roof of one of the garages...........We changed outlets to GFCIs and washed walls, cleaned closets, and cleaned the yard. ............... im concerned that the damage inside from where the holes were, will need to be repaired before close. There's plywood that is wet from rain and snow coming through the roof holes.

The home sounds like is has significant problems. If your are represented by a Realtor the Realtor should have told you this would not be a good choice for FHA financing. Your lender should know better than to have had this try to go FHA. Sounds like you are dealing with people who are not very good at what they do.

Why didn't the bank provide you direct financing? If a property sat for 3 years, there's something wrong with property in why it couldn't sell.
The people in the bank knew of the problems and if they were smart, they should have help you buy that dump.
Hate it when people are taken advantaged.

FHA 203K?

"Then our financing changed from Conventional to FHA".

Why did it change?
