Hi all I have just finished taking the 90 hour classes and have sent in my application tto the state to take my test.

I just wanted to intruduce myself and get familar with the sight.

Is there anybody else here from Cary area?

I live near Angier. I work primarily in Harnett and Cumberland Counties - no Wake County for me. lol Had enough of that "big city" stuff when I live in Chapel Hill from 90-97. :)

Welcome to the forum and good luck with the test and getting going in the biz.

Yea! Right! :rof::rof::rof:

no Wake County for me.
Does anyone else ever find it interesting that so many fee shops out of Wake County claim they can cover most of the state for cheap fees and be geographically competent to boot? Maybe it’s time for the rest of the state to form a co-op and send trainees inside the belt-line. My fireman pals would call it starting a backfire. :)

That is the backfire from the HVCC as proposed. I cover 4 rural counties within driving distance of where Barney goers to party. I will not attempt to cover Wake County, although I am Geo competent to do so, lived there for 6-7 years, worked there for another 6-7, but I know I cant work it economically as an appraiser unless I send puppies to do the dirty. The shops in the bid city will claim Geo Competne and send a Trainee out here to the sticks and knock it out for 50 cents on the dollar. Clueless lenders doling work to clueless appraisers, and everybody is happy until the sheet hits the fan. Anybody noticed that the sheet has met the fan recently?

:rof: :rof: I just can't bring myself to stoop that low.
