Hello, everyone,

I have been active here for a few weeks now and I realized I didn't introduce myself.

So I'm a software developer (Android), tired of the corporate world, where working from 9 to 5 turns into 9 to 7 or 8, plus week-ends.
I can't afford to buy a Ferrari, like sometimes midlife crisis translates into, so here I am, changing careers instead ;)

About to finish taking my trainee exams now.
Also, doing web design and graphic design.

I'm very excited about this forum, as it gives me the possibility to stay up do date, learn about tips and ways to work more efficiently.
Thank you all that helped me so far and answered my questions.

Looking forward to be part of this appraisers community.

Christian

Sounds like my schedule but I start at 6-7 am. I may sleep in till 9 on Sat/Sun but then I feel like a bum.

:) true.
But you're flexible, I forgot to mention that (inflexible hours with 9 to 5 jobs)

Good luck to you, Christian! Hope you excel in this industry.
Not sure if appraising will get you a Ferrari, but it will get you sweet 1997 Geo Metro!!
(jus kiddin'...)

I wouldn't say there is much flexibility working 60+ hours when you factor in sleeping and eating.

Thank you, Miktay.
By the way, how do you guys address each other? By the userId? (in case it doesn't contain the name)
Geo Metro is fine ;)
I don't need a Ferrari for sure. I wouldn't buy it even if I did have the money.

It's pretty flexible, JT. Today, I'm starting work at noon o'clock because I have "other things" to do this morning.
That's flexible.

Just your username is fine. Some people have more creative names to call other members, but I wont get into that...

That's because you still work a "9-5" :rof:

Us "real appraisers" have flexibility :fencing:
(you know i'm messing with you)
