Got one today came across as a 2055 driveby for a HELOC. Turned out to be a duplex, and I turned it down telling them that, plus it is an oddball problem.
Came right back with the correct form and decent fee. But due next Tuesday, and it is Friday afternoon.
I accepted with due date of 12/24 thinking it would go away.
Merry Christmas to me, 12/24 is OK. Nuts.

I would have to spend close to half a day just sitting in traffic Hades to get there and back.

If I could get enough work without going south of Mulholland Dr,
I would never ever ever go there. Just due to traffic.

Not sure why the Florida Board doesn't publish a list of AMCs registered in your state. Maybe if you contact them they can send you a list. That's how I got started with my clients. Sent emails to 50, got responses from 20, tried out around 10, filtered those down to 5. I was in the same boat last year with it being reaallly slow, but this year I am probably passing over more than I have accepted. I also have a very flexible part time job unrelated to real estate that at least pays for food and gas when I need.
