MAKING NUMEROUS CHANGES NEEDED TO ACCESS THE INTERNET WHEN I MOVED to a new casa [can't remember the changes] now I have established internet access and seeem to have recovered all onnline nd offline accounts n files .... but I can't find the ACI icon to log in nor can ChtGPT find it, advising that i might need to download again, but I can't find any options on the ACI WEBSITE. IDEAS????

Quick ways to find it right now:

  1. Fastest search in File Explorer:
    • Press Windows key + E to open File Explorer.
    • In the top-right search box, type exactly:Report32.exe→ Hit Enter.
    • It should pop up almost instantly (usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\ACI32\Applications\).
  2. Go straight to the folder(even quicker):
    • Press Windows key + R, paste this path and press Enter:C:\Program Files (x86)\ACI32\Applications
    • Look for the file named Report32.exe

Using option 1, which option in the left column should be checked? I selected OS (C) and search results indicated " no files matched your search" BTW I can find all
my completed reports by scrolling to the Reports folder I always use, but not the ACI operating system. Simultaneously ACI tech support recently advised me of RAM shortage so I must buy a new laptop ASAP. Per ACI 8mg RAM is plenty but in ur opinion is 16mg RAM much superior?

Method 2 revealed dozens of ACI COMPONENTS in the right side column beginning with ACI DESKTOP ADDITIONAL COMPONENTS . what next???

I don't use ACI but if you can't find the app/program finding the executable .exe file should. Grok said it is Report32.exe but if you can't find it in C drive go up a level and pick This PC which will check all drives on your PC. If you double click a completed report (not a PDF) if the program is installed on your PC should open.

I just checked ACI support and it is open today if you ask them to send you the report32.exe or installer what do they tell you?

Back those up to an external drive immediately. I'm assuming ACI is like Total where you can download the application to your computer. Seems as if one or more files are corrupted. After backing up all your work, download and use REVO Uninstaller to uninstall ACI completely, clean and defrag, then reload. Go through all the updates then load your reports to your file folders from your external drive.

I don't know why, but I have a feeling that if you are on a Windows PC, OneDrive has something to do with your mess.

Yes. If you only have 8mg of RAM.... I'm also assuming you have an old azz laptop with a hard drive instead of an SSD drive. Go to Costco or Sam's Club in get one of their budget ones on sale or go online to get a better one refurbished to save $$. Any one of those choices will blow your current laptop out of the water. Uninstall OneDrive prior to loading anything on your new laptop.

1. Both Costco and Staples are selling the same 17" HP laptop with 8mg RAM for about $350. 2. I developed a major grudge against OneDrive a few months ago, still unsure of the implications of simply Uninstaller it... then there is the MS browser that tries to replace Google if I take a moment away from being fully attentive to work...

Don't get those.....first, you need 16mg of RAM minimum. Especially, if you're going to be doing the 3.6. Secondly, HP laptop keyboards are the worst.... look it up if you don't believe me. My former laptop was an HP Spectre..... a higher-end HP laptop. I had to change out five to six keys on that thing. It was really aggravating.

Get something like this instead.
