I did an FHA appraisal about 3 months ago. The loan never closed and the lender transferred the case to another lender. The new lender is asking for some changes to the appraisal. I initially told them that they I have to treat it as a new assignment and they would have to order an appraisal.
They then told me that they never have to go through this when they receive a case transfer that need some appraisal conditions met/changed.
Was my initial thought correct or can I do what they ask?
