Does anyone know if it is still suggested that the appraiser receive a copy of the home inspection. It is in the 4150.2 handbook but not in appendix D.

That's an option for FHA work. You can DEMAND what the client is suppose to provide.

The inspection report should have been included just as a pest report should be included if the purchase contract called for them.
