Hot Denver Market -23% Deals Fail

Imagine that, appraisers actually doing their job instead of rubber stamping prices are the "sticking point".

It never ends, same RE article in different forms over the years .
 
Why does everyone want to be in Denver? Is it the pot?

I am appraising a couple farms for a Realtor in Colorado and she said appraisals are taking a month.
 
I lived there for a few years and absolutely loved it. Except for the winters. I always said if I could find a "warm Denver", that is where is would retire.

And the Denver market is notorious for crashing. If the anti-development initiatives being proposed are implemented this fall that will basically eliminate all mining and oil well drilling, then eventually, the economy will be solely dependent upon tourists and "high tech" and, very importantly, weather and drought.
 
Did Denver ever get their new airport "fixed" with the luggage sorting system gone amok?
