How do they appraise an unfinished house?

I'm just worried that since the home is not finished, it will not appraise for the amount I need it to to get the loan! Thanks again!

That's a separate issue...the value "is what it is."

One of the problems I have seen over the years is homeowner's trying to obtain loans for a remodel after the home has been gutted. The market value of these properties is not simply market value "as completed" minus the cost to finish. Any buyer of such a property will pay less (a discount), and often much less, because the cost of financing in higher, and they will have to finish the home upon purchase.

...it can be done with requirements of "...subject to..."....good luck...........rs

The poster noted that it isn't conventional financing, which leads me to believe that it is an FRT. If so, at a minimum, the lender will need an "as is" value. An "as completed" value can also be done, if they wish to have it.
