Do you or anyone else think 6% is reasonable? Do you think it should cost $45k to sell an average house in the Bay Area? Really?? i could do it for less with an attorney and marketing team. BUT, if you don't use a Realturd you are blackballed, been there, done that and talked to many others.

So why did you use 12 and not sell yourself? 6% appears to be justified if you used them 12 times and still have not sold yourself. Why is it that you chose not to put together your marketing team and attorney and do it for less? Doesn't seem feasible to be able to do it for less, yet do it 12 times for more?

lol! Only $37500!! Such a deal for making a flyer and typing the info into the MLS. When will the sheeple wake up? We need a Ralph Nadar type to break the monopoly that NAR has.

I tried, FSBO and a limited service realtor with an MLS listing. No showing for 2 months, then went Realtor and house sold in 3 weeks, every one said, "I wonder why I did not see this one earlier." My Realtor friend said, they never show FSBO's, too much work." He said, it keeps Realtors employed, no secrets. For the 6 I sold, I shot the photos and created the flyers and text as the Realtor's where awful. Lucky for me I saw the bubble and got out completely in 2008. Waiting to buy in 2013-2014... maybe. If rates go up, this crash accelerates down, everyone knows that.... yeah right!

It's easy to tell you are not in the business.

$37,500. Half to BA, half to SA. $18,750 in house. Half to broker, half to agent. $9,375. Less Uncle Sam, Gov. Corbett and gosh dern retired folks milking the system living to be 95 years old...

$6,500

Thank you for your business.

I don't care how they spend it. It is my $45k that leaves my pocket for hard work and risk I took on. I don't want to share my wealth with nincompoops.

Maybe you should become an agent so you can sell it yourself and get it on the MLS, etc. You already know everything about selling, so it shouldn't be a problem. LOL

Looked into that as well, too much liability. Not advised. But you knew that. if you read my post, you know I had it on the MLS.

I sold one home for 4% in 2005, my listing agent took 1% and have to give 3% to get it shown. Sold in 6 days, full price, easiest money my Broker said she ever made. But that market was nuts! My agent made about $500 an hr.

But you don't want to pay for THEM to take on the liabiliby. Ok, I get it.

they [realturds] have NO liability and most everything they tell you is verbal, but as owner/broker you do. you must be new.

One day you can drop out of high school, 3 mos later sell homes. what does that tell ya? Just try to get a Realtor to tell you, now is not a good time to buy. lol!!
