How many actually believe 3.6 will be fully implemented this year?

I don't think it is going to be implemented atleast this year. They are going to extend it.
I just talked to Alamode with few questions about UAD 3.6. The support guy did not know much
Alamode is the market leader. If this is the situation there. You can imagine the state of affairs of the others.

No offense, but a rep from freddie mac posts here often. He has said multiple times that it is not going to be extended.

I would take his word over some rep at alamode.

I don’t personally know anyone who has completed one or been requested to complete one. The Buzz carnival barkers that sell 3.6 gadgets claim thousands are being uploaded, but consider the source. I read a thread last week in one of the white trash facebook groups where a husband/wife team bragged about completing one and getting a $25 bonus. That appears to be Fannie’s goal and the future of the industry. If 3.6 were a download it would show 1% complete and stalled.
I just received a request for a 3.6 order from Clear Capital - fee was just over $400, and don't forget to deduct the $20 technology fee - I said no thanks (and please tell me the name of the FB group, I'd like to see what gets posted there!

Clear Capital is too kind, imagine only charging $20 for delivering a 3.6 which took NASA engineers 8 years to develop. :-)

I am not sure if he has all of the answers. He does know the company line and what is shared with him. He may be in the room, but not in all of the rooms. Also, there are so many things that can and do go wrong with the implementation of new software that once a few get through, there may be a big step on the brakes to work out the unforeseen problems. or I could be wrong and it will be full steam ahead and damn the torpedos.

Of course the guy from Fannie or Freddie is going to push it. If they said they would delay it then we would all relax. They want everybody to get hyped up about this to try and meet their deadline.

I talked to a chief appraiser at a big bank, and he says it is going to be horrible. Fannie is messing this up. We aren't close to being ready. And they would be wise to delay full implementation for another year while we all get adjusted to the new forms, software gets properly written, and the lenders are all ready.

By the way, I wouldn't do an appraisal for $400 on 2.6. Tell that company to go get some laxative because they are full of it.

All my fees are going up $200 to $250. They don't want to pay it, fine. I'm 71, and retired. Go get some other sucker.

It's just not him. On other forums, podcasts, seminars where both freddie and fannie reps are there they are saying the same thing. Even the guru with alamode is saying that they will not be any delays.

The way that I see it is if the lenders are not ready they won't be selling their loans to them. Simple as that.
